Hello lovelies,
My family moved to Miramar near Miami in South Florida last Thanksgiving! I can’t believe we have been stateside more than 6 months already. In that time, Rose Macarons has been officially registered as a cottage foods bakery in Florida, we are insured, and I renewed my Food Manager’s certificate with ServSafe.
So far, we’ve had a soft launch at the beginning of Summer 2026 with a market at US Southern Command in Doral and a few custom orders – thank you!
Up next we plan to attend another market at the new base/workplace and open up our calendar to book your custom celebration desserts. And as the heat (hopefully) turns down a smidge, we want to reopen our macaron subscriptions – shipped straight to your home.
While we miss Japan terribly in so many ways, I’m starting to add inspiration from our time there in my current baking repertoire. That’s been helping keep my kawaii levels high enough. We are so grateful for the people we met and the friendships we formed in Japan, it was such a special time. Now as with any move, we are still meeting new people and forming new connections in Florida, but it’s heart warming that we are near my mom and sister and family.
